Starting a business was previously unthinkable to me; now I look forward to it. Young Muslims get growing up in the west thinking that big corporations are the key to success. I felt this Accelerator was an antidote for that. This program broke down every mental and physical barrier to becoming an entrepreneur.

Is This Another Get-Rich-Quick Scheme?

Absolutely not. If your goal is to get rich quickly, we’re sorry to disappoint you, but that’s not what we do. Don’t get us wrong - our program is highly effective, and many founders will achieve great wealth after starting their businesses Insha'Allah. However, Rizq (sustenance) comes solely from Allah , who grants it to whomever He wills as He  says in the Qur’an:

And there is no creature on earth but its provision is due from Allah" [Hud 11:6]

and

“Allah extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]...”
[ar-Ra‘d 13:26].

Besides that, anyone who has built a successful business will tell you that it’s far from easy. Building a business is much like growing a tree - you must water it diligently and nurture its roots before it can provide the fruit. We believe that great things take time and require strong foundations and that’s exactly what we focus on.

Through the Muslim Founder's Accelerator, we guide you step-by-step as you develop your character as a Muslim Founder, clarify your vision, and answer the critical questions every business must address. Our program helps you come up and refine your idea, validate it in the market, and create a solid business model. From setting up the structure of your business to creating strategies for growth and going to market, we walk with you every step of the way until you’ve built a business with strong foundations, Insha'Allah.

In short, the Muslim Founder's Accelerator equips you with the knowledge, tools, and support you need to take your first steps confidently, paving the way for long-term success, Insha'Allah.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the primary goals of the Muslim Founder's Accelerator?

The Muslim Founder's Accelerator has five primary goals:

  1. Provide the essential Islamic knowledge you need as a Muslim founder when engaging in business.
  2. Equip you with fundamental business and technical knowledge necessary to succeed as a business owner.
  3. Guide you through step-by-step instructions, mentorship, and feedback until your business is up and running.
  4. Create a space for Muslim founders in the early stages to connect, collaborate, and brainstorm together.
  5. Connect Muslim founders with Muslim investors for those who need further capital in order to start their business.
Can I join if I don't have a business idea?

Of course. At Muslim Founder's Accelerator, we guide you through a structured process using seven powerful idea-generation models. We’ll help you brainstorm 35 ideas, narrow them down to your top 7, and finally identify the one idea that’s the perfect fit for you. With this approach, you’ll have the clarity and confidence to take your first step, Insha’Allah.

Do I have to be wealthy to start a business?
No, you don’t need to be wealthy to start a business. Many successful businesses began with limited resources and grew over time. However, we do require you to be able to cover initial expenses for registration and branding, which can range from $50 to $500 or higher, depending on your country. This amount is separate from the fees for the Muslim Founder's Accelerator, which go to MuslimBiz and are used to run the program. The $400 investment is what you will put directly into your newly launched business.
Is it necessary to quit my job or school to participate in the program?
This accelerator is designed to fit seamlessly into your current lifestyle without the need to quit your job or school. It’s a part-time program that helps you start your business and earn money, all while keeping your financial stability intact. As Muslims, we have responsibilities toward ourselves, our families, and our communities, and we understand the importance of not putting our financial well-being at risk. That’s why we’ve structured the program in a way that allows you to build your business without sacrificing your existing commitments. At the same time, we do require that you have a minimum of 6-12 hours per week to attend the weekly 90-minute sessions and work on your to-dos, ensuring you can actively engage with the program and make progress in building your business.
Is it mandatory to start a business at the end of the program, or can I join the program just to learn about business?
Yes, starting a business is a mandatory aspect of this program. This is not an online course that simply teaches business concepts. It is a hands-on program designed to help you actively start a business. If your goal is purely to learn about business, there are other resources available. This program is specifically for those who are serious and committed to launching a business.
How does the program work and why is it different from normal business school programs?
In a weekly basis for 24 weeks, we cover a specific topic where you receive all the necessary knowledge and training. After each session, you will get supplemental materials and a list of to-dos. This is different from the typical homework you might get in school because these to-dos are real actions that help you build your business. For example, in school, you might learn about different types of business structures and how to register a business, but you don't actually register it. In our program, you will choose the structure that best fits your situation in your country and register your business as part of the program. The same goes for social media, your website, and all the other steps. In most marketing programs, you learn about websites and other tools, but you don’t actually build one for your business designed to sell. In our program, you’ll learn and take action on all of that, Insha’Allah.
Why is the program 24 weeks long, while some programs claim to help you build a business in just 7 days or less than a month?
The 24-week duration allows us to take a thorough, step-by-step approach to help you build a sustainable business. Unlike programs that promise quick results, our focus is on providing you with the knowledge, tools, and practical experience to create a solid foundation for your business, ensuring long-term success. Building a business is a process that requires thoughtful planning, real-world action, and a consistent commitment, which is why we’ve designed the program to give you enough time to learn, implement, and refine each step of the journey. Quick-fix solutions often overlook critical aspects of business growth, which can lead to challenges down the road. Our approach is meant to ensure you not only launch your business but build it to last.
What are the founder requirements to join?
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must have a minimum of 6-12 hours to attend the weekly 90-min sessions and work on to-dos.
  • Must be able to research, follow instructions, learn and master new things.
  • Must be able to invest a minimum of $400 into their business before the program ends. This amount will cover essential expenses such as government business registration, branding setup, and website development. These funds are not collected by MuslimBiz and are separate from the fees of the Muslim Founder's Accelerator program.
  • Once the business is launched, the founder must be able to cover monthly fees of $10–$50 for their website builder, hosting services, and any other necessary systems.
  • Must have a laptop or computer and a quiet, distraction-free space with high-speed internet for weekly live meetings and business work. Joining weekly on a phone, without video, with poor internet or in a noisy environment is not acceptable.
Does the program guarantee that I will start a successful business?

We hope so, Insha'Allah, but only Allah (SubhanAllah Wa Tala) can guarantee that you will be successful in business; and not us. The program is designed to help you start a successful business, and uses proven business principles, strategies and a step-by-step process to achieve that. There is a high chance that you can become a successful Muslim entrepreneur following our program. However, success depends on your abilities and Allah's blessing falling on you.

How many people are in a batch?

Each batch is composed of a focus group of seven founders to allow you to receive the maximum attention.

Is this accelerator in person or online?

This program is fully online, delivered in a live interactive format. We meet once a week for 90 minutes at a scheduled time, and you can participate from anywhere in the world, al-Ḥamdulillāh.

Is there gender mixing involved?
The groups consist of either 7 sisters or 7 brothers. The mentor for the sisters may be a brother, but we are actively working to find a qualified sister who has founded at least one company to take on the role.
Is it mandatory for sisters to observe hijab during Zoom calls?

Yes. Sisters must observe proper hijab, niqab or turn their cameras off in presence of the male instructors.

Can I get a refund if I don't like it after I register?
Yes, you can receive a full refund for any of the months you have not attended. However, if you attend even one session in a given month, that month's payment is non-refundable. We strongly encourage you to carefully review the program requirements before joining to ensure you're fully prepared for the accelerator.
