Muslim Founder Brief
A daily briefing on Muslim ownership, responsibility, and disciplined building.
Turn Your Goal Into a Plan
Start with four things.
Set the goal. Know exactly what you are trying to accomplish.
Fix your niyyah. Connect your goal to something pleasing to Allah سبحانه وتعالى. With the right intention, even worldly pursuits can become a source of reward.
Build the plan. Break the goal into the time, activities, and milestones required to reach it.
You will not accidentally become a hafidh by opening the Qur’an whenever you feel inspired. You memorize, revise, and repeat according to a plan.
The same applies to business. You probably will not accidentally build a great company.
Commit to the Work
Planning does not contradict Qadr.
You take the means available to you, put in the effort, and trust Allah سبحانه وتعالى with the outcome.
You cannot control everything that happens, but you can control whether you prepared, whether you worked, and whether you remained consistent.
Set the goal.
Fix the niyyah.
Build the plan.
Commit to the work.
The question is not simply, “What do you hope to achieve?”
It is:
“What are you doing today to make it happen?”
