يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اصْبِرُوا وَصَابِرُوا وَرَابِطُوا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ"O you who believe! Be patient, outlast others in patience, remain steadfast, and fear Allah so that you may be successful."(Surah Al 'Imran 3:200)

This verse gives us three powerful concepts.
Aṣ-Ṣabr (الصبر): Patience. Remaining obedient to Allah through hardship, temptation, and delay.
Al-Muṣābarah (المصابرة): Outlasting others through patience. Persevering longer than the opposition.
Rabitu (رَابِطُوا): Remaining firmly stationed and committed to your mission.
Although this verse was revealed in the context of battle, its lessons apply far beyond the battlefield.

From Patience to Steadfastness
Every founder will face moments that require ṣabr.
Customers leave.
Laws change.
Tariffs increase.
Revenue drops.
Markets become uncertain.
The believer remains patient without compromising.
Then comes muṣābarah.
This is where many people lose.
It is outlasting competitors who quit, outlasting your own nafs when it seeks comfort, and outlasting Shaytan when he invites you toward haram or despair.
Finally comes rabitu.
Once Allah has shown you the truth, you remain firmly attached to it.
You do not lie because it increases sales.
You do not sell what Allah has prohibited because it is profitable.
You do not abandon your principles when money is on the table.
